Come have a look at this. Crossing a line here, aren’t you? Hello. What’s going on? Celebrating. Alone? It’s personal achievement. A hypothetical one? Take it one step further. Serious? I think she’ll crucify you. It’s insane Rosa. It couldn’t work. It’s impossible. What happens in the hypothetical? You came here. You were here last night. There’s some things missing. Nobody else knows. Yet. Scientists have always experimented on themselves. Themselves? Yourself? What did you do? No. No. So… What happens in hypothetical? It’s my body. I can do what I want with it. What DNA is it? Human. Pig. Should know if its worked in a couple of weeks. Rosa. Hi. What should we do with it? Nothing. I’m involved Rosa. I know too much. It didn’t work. It wasn’t successful. Well… I knew it wouldn’t. I can’t talk now. It’s not a good time. Can I call you later? Thank you for calling Ashcroft Surgery. Unfortunately, we’re now closed. Are open hours are Monday through Friday… Hey Rosa, pick up. Where are you? Look, can you give me a call please. I’m worried about you. Your first? Do you know what you’re having? A pig. It’s unbelievable. -Looks like…
-A baby. Very sensitive. Look. Ready to go? Yeah. Be easier to run test when we’re there. You’re feeding it now. You go on ahead. What’s the quickest way from here? Hayes then King’s Road. Surely, it’s just a road. Oh yeah. You’re right. Sorry. Be right behind, will you?

  1. Dont waste your time on this bullshit. A lazy borderline girl injects herself some mutated pig-human cell and gets pregnant. She gives birth to manpig and kills it. No message, no nothing. Lots of crying and useless silence. 15 minutes for a story you can tell in 30 seconds.

  2. When I read pig child I instinctively thought Penelope. I thought it was going to be a much darker version of that. Either way this was dark and Iโ€™m kinda pissed at the protagonist. The child, pig or not, didnโ€™t deserve that, no matter if she wasnโ€™t ready and the child shouldnโ€™t have technically existed. No asks to be here but at the same time, it didnโ€™t do anything wrong. Itโ€™s a dark and bleak existence. Although I will say that it would have been interesting to see how the child wouldโ€™ve been raised and how it wouldโ€™ve grown with the outside world

  3. Poor little thing. It never should have been created to begin with.. just because we can do a thing doesn't mean we should. Even so, it's a tragedy it had to pay for the tragedy of existing.

  4. Many organs from the hog are compatible with humans .
IE : Heart valves , skin used in grafts and many of the systems of a hog are very similar to humans as in digestive , circulatory etc …
But , baby pigs are born smooth & soft skinned with a lovely peach fuzz over their bodies .

    But I wouldn't cross breed with a hog . NOPE .

  5. Somethings are NOT to be tempered with. You may think it's "progressive", but you may not believe it once it has manifested.

    P. S. :- kudos to the team ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
    Tnx ALTER

  6. There Will be NO PORK ๐Ÿท ON MY
    FORK ๐Ÿด โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  7. hhhmmmm bacon…..๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜

  8. This woman is insane. First of all, she did that stupid thing with self-insemination without any second thought, so… i really was expecting that ending. It fits very well with that pseudo-scientist womanโ€™s character.

Poor baby creature gave out such strangled and odd breathing since it was born, that i think it would not last long anyway.

  9. I have officially seen all the videos on this channel and I must say they were all amazing. Wow mind blowing โ™ฅ๏ธ

  10. She seems mentally ill-also adverse to wearing bottoms. Hard to understand a lot of the dislogue-overall confusing. Disappointed in her apparent lack of commitment.

  11. Ok…so, in the end she killed the baby/pig? That's what I got, anyway. WOW! Simply amazing! The while thing was just so well done. If I had one critisizm it would be it was hard to hear throughout most of the film. But everything else was spot on. True art makes people "think" and this certainly did that! In spades! Thanks!

  12. I'm currently reading Frankenstein (Mary Shelley) and this reminded me of it. I see the comment where Alter confirms that this is a retelling of Frankenstein. I'm very close to the end of the book but so far, this vid and the story itself is so heartbreaking to watch/read.
The question that we've so far discussed and that I haven't stopped thinking about is, "What makes us human?"
Although you might find one simple answer there and then the end of it, I just can't stop thinking of every angle in which you can see it.
But in the end, both stories (in my view) potray two cowards not being able to own up to two creations with just as must human as us.

  13. Very sad and cruel. But unfortunately, in this type of situation, the baby would have just been kept alive as a science experiment and suffered who knows on what type of ways! What's even worse is that no doubt, around the world, these experiments are taking place. Places like Germany perform scientific experiments in places like China, because theirnethic laws are lapse.

  14. I was in school when I got the notification and I thought to myself โ€œthe second I walk in my door when I get home Iโ€™m watching this, point blank period…..โ€ Iโ€™m supposed to be cleaning shhhhh ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ but amazing short once again omllllll I love ALTER so much

  15. I do believe that this could happen one day or already has happened, and it scares me to even think of it… It's also really sad, to how some people dont actually think about the consequences….

  16. Was so psyched to see a new Alter short, thx guys, I loved it as usual. ๐Ÿ– ๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ’€ .

  17. I really like your short film where there is often a final morality…
I love it and I still want it! ๐Ÿ˜
    Again and again… ๐Ÿ’–

  18. "It's my body and I can do what I like with it" I don't think impregnating yourself with a monster pig mutant is what they meant!!! Poor little thing, it never asked to be born. I thought they would keep it and run experiments on it! Still very cruel.

  19. A scientist told me once "My duty is to discover new things and help science evolve. It has nothing to do with morality or consequences. If it's bad and I refuse to do it, someone else will so why shouldn't I get the glory and the Nobel?""

  20. we need pro-life and pro-choice advocates here, to have a debate, lol. I would love to see that with popcorn. anyway, i feel sorry for baby Bacon

  21. The premise of this seems flawed (aside from the obvious things like…humans canโ€™t breed with other species)…because I think that if it were possible for humans to carry animal fetuses to term, I think there would be plenty of animal-loving people willing to do this. We already accept our pets as part of our family. I know people who claim to love their animals more than any human they know. I donโ€™t think it would be a foregone that a woman would repulsed by this prospect. I think it would be scary…the unknown…but I think many people would be willing to biologically parent an animal.

  22. Thank goodness for closed caption, as if understanding what they are saying would make any more sense of this short feature. I do not understand this one, across the board. Why would she experiment on herself. and to what purpose ? Totally no justifiable explanation for her actions other than self loathing. Kind of kills all the joy of playing, "This little piggie"

  23. Well like she said, her body her choice. Where we heard that before.I guess it doesnโ€™t matter that she is creating an abomination. Science, just because we can create something, doesnโ€™t mean we should create something. I so love Alterโค๏ธ

this is the first one of Alter that I didn't like. Did she really have to kill the poor thing? Why did she even have it ? That ending was just horrible. It should have got to live.

  25. I really hate this one..

It was well done, had a good plot, great acting and film skills..
    But I just..

The idea of it makes me want to cry

  26. Apparently I saw this story the exact opposite of the majority of the viewers lol I see a lot of people saying she killed it because she didnโ€™t want to deal with it once it was born because she wasnโ€™t ready for it. I interpreted as young scientist makes decision to inseminate herself in the name of science without care because itโ€™s in the name of science… she created it for it to be studied…. not for her to raise. She battled with her decision the entire pregnancy and seemed to be regretting her decision… until the baby pig person was born… she seemed to look at it lovingly in some parts. When the guy took pictures of the pig baby she commented that it just looked like a baby… she goes to feed it before they leave and he gives her a bewildered look… even though nature is telling her to feed her baby. She gave him wrong directions it sounds like… and he said something about โ€œitโ€™ll be easier to do more testing there,โ€ so they were taking it to a lab. She asked to meet him there because she kept looking at the baby… and it wasnโ€™t just science to her… now it had been part of her…. her baby… so she smothered it with a tear in her eye because she didnโ€™t want it to be a science experiment. In the beginning she didnโ€™t care about the pig in anyway except how they could study it, but in the end.. she loved it and killed it instead of it being tested on its whole life, but thatโ€™s just my interpretation on it… always cool to see others opinions!

  27. thats..not how artificial insemination works? not with embryos anyway..maybe with sperm. but with embryos you have to like take hormones and go through months of crap to get ready for carrying and then there's like 20% chance of success. most likely it just falls out and dies. and that's WITH all the prep and best chances possible. so… basically she just shoved some cells up her coochie and its gonna spit them out. waste of very expensive science really.
