Hi, I’m Ramgopal from Presentation-process.com In this video, you will learn how to add a picture as PowerPoint slide background. This technique comes in quite handy to have very interesting slide backgrounds for your presentations and let me show you how to do that in a step-by-step way Here I have a new presentation the first step in the process of inserting picture as slide background is you right click on the slide and go to ‘Format background’ option. Now, you will see this pane on the right-hand side and the option we want to choose is this one called as ‘Picture or texture fill’. As soon as you click on that you will have a default texture inserted by PowerPoint Don’t bother too much about this one. Because, we’re going to insert a picture from our file. So, I’m going to click on the option called ‘insert picture from file’ and I’m going to choose one of the images that will serve as slide background. and this is a picture that I have already saved on my computer and I’m going to say ‘Insert’ As soon as I did that, you can see that the picture is now added as a slide background. Let’s say, you want to have the same slide background for every slide that you want to insert in a presentation All you need to do is to choose this option called ‘Apply to all’ As soon as you do that you’ll see that any new slide that you insert like by going here You will have the new slide have the same slide background as well. aAnother thing I want you to note is once you insert a picture as slide background, You also have the option to change the picture properties as well All you need to do is to go to this option called ‘Picture’ and you can change picture colour or you can do some picture corrections For example, if you want to recolour this picture in some other tint All you need to do is to go to ‘Recolor’ option and you can insert a green accent or you can have an orange accent etc. So, all those options are available to you once you insert a picture as slide background.
