You can insert a picture in other types of charts, but we’ll be doing a bar chart for this example. So, first, we’ll select the data that we want to chart. And then, in the Insert tab, we’ll come to the Charts section and here, where you see columns, we’re going to choose this 2D Clustered Bar Chart for our example. After creating the chart, click on any of the bars to select them. And you can select all or 1 at a time, if you want them to all use different pictures, and then right click and select Format Data Series. From here, select Fill, that’s this paint bucket, and click on Fill and then we’re going to choose Picture or Texture Fill. Now, if you don’t have these options, that I have here to the right, you can go under your Chart Tools tab and under Format, select Shape Fill and you’ll have those same options available to you. Next, select From File to insert your own picture. And if you don’t have your own picture saved, you can always click Online and that’ll bring up other image options available on the internet. So, I’m going to choose this little smiley emoji with the hearts. And, now, to fix our chart, I’m going to come here and change our image from being Stretched to being Stacked. Now, if you like, you can come up here, to this Effects icon and add any Shadow, Color, Glow or other effects you may want.
