Marie Antoinette (2006) Official Trailer 1 – Kirsten Dunst Movie

friendship between Austria and France must be cemented by marriage. My youngest daughter, Antoine will be Queen of France. It’s accustomed that a bride retain nothing belonging to a foreign court. You represent the future. All eyes will be on you. *she looks like a child* So, I’ve heard you make keys as a hobby? Yes Pity she can’t see how long she lasts What on Earth is going on with that young couple? It’s a disaster This is ridiculous This, madame, is Versailles I’m afraid the queen has a somewhat artistic temperament it’s not too much, is it? oh, no! She spends like mad The people of France are hungry! The King and Queen are complete blunderers Don’t they ever get tired of these ridiculous stories? Can’t you do something? I’m not going to acknowledge it She was in the scrubs at dawn with various men He has quite a reputation She’s a terrible queen Letting everyone down would be my greatest unhappiness the Bastille office was stormed There’s a mob of hundreds and they await

  1. Ну и какого хера французские короли говорят!!!! по – английски!!!!они там гамбургеры может ели и колу пили – по- американски!!!! Много дислайков

  2. As church hill stated, "History is written by the victors." …if any of you watched The Last Kingdom or really were into history , you'd understand that phrase. Its easy to pass judgement because we are living in those times.I feel bad for them all. All of our ancestors had serious issues. I just hope we learn from it more.

  3. I so love this movie!!! It captured what she was from the perspective of a 21st century person.
I've been to her grave in St. Denis. She did not deserve that horrible death for being a light – minded spoilt person as she was, not the beheading, not the separation from her children.

  4. The plot of the film is based in the magnificent novel “Marie Antoinette: The last Journey” by the English writer Antonia Fraser. The movie is quite good and the performance by Dunst is formidable.

But if you read the Fraser ‘s novel , you will have a better knowledge about this tragic Queen.

She was to much defamed and right know if you visit at Paris, France, the Concergerie Museum where she was imprisoned , a film is shown, where Marie Antoinette is claimed innocent.

  5. Sofia Coppola did it perfect..got that fathers talent…very luxory done…actors…location..real Versaille…perfect…❤❤❤❤

  6. " Let them eat cake, she says, just like Marie Antoinette. Built in remedies with cruschow and kennedies and anytime the complications you can't decline"
-Killer Queen ( Queen, Freddie Mercury)

  7. I want to see some elements from that era in modern fashion, thze desinges are so aesthetically pleasing…

  8. Kirsten carry the movie so well I watch it couple of times….! Incredible how the costumes, storyline and location were depicted in the film..I wish the movie was slight longer as they can show Marie's involvement in creating the landscape of palace etc as it is well documented facts as well. I mean, when you can involve rumors, you can integrate the factual occurrences in the plot as well…. I suppose. Still, a great movie!

  9. Just watched this earlier and in one scene she trying on lots of shoes and theirs a pair of canvas boots on the ground wonder were they left there on purpose 🤔🤔🤔

  10. This is literally a movie about a French Queen who was brutally executed yet it’s made out to be some American High school romance story and they all have American accents. I get that it shows she was just a teenager but seriously? Do you really think crappy high school movies were around then?

  11. LIES! LIES! LIES! And as much as I love Kirsten Stewart, why are they making light of this tragic story…?? And it is a tragic story, true or not….

And Marie Antoinette was NOTHING like (((history))) has painted her. Neither was Czar Nicholas.

  12. One should not take this film very seriously … it is so un-french ! I bought it for the costumes, but was very dispointed with the film. And by the way, the Opera House (Paris Opera Garnier) featured in this fil was built latre 1860's !

  13. I hate all those comments saying she was only a kid and she was just 19 so she couldn’t do anything and other crap, actually she was 34 when the revolution started so from age of 19 (age when she became queen) to age of 34 (age when her reign ended) Mary Antoinette didn’t do any single thing for her people she only thought about herself, so she deserves what happened to her and all that at some point was her fault. So people read history, before you publicly write your stupid ideas.

  14. knowing that this is but a small piece of the over all history im sure this film ignores it would be interesting to see an proper depiction of the Revaluation of France with this piece of history firmly put in its proper context.

  15. Thank you masters ✍🙏💅💅🧜‍♀️🧞‍♂️🧞‍♂️🧝‍♂️🧝‍♀️💜💜👁🤳

  16. It is my favourite movie and it will always be! I've seen it over 10 times and it never gets boring! Love it so much!!

  17. Marie Antoinette is definitely one my favorite queens. She never took part in the politics,it was only the king's job.She never said "Let them eat cake".She was a charming, beautiful, kind girl. She was no saint, but was no devil too.
She wasn't interested in politics, she was preferred fashion and art.
Not to mention that she had to leave her family at very young age.

Shame on those french bastards who blamed their poverty and misery on an innocent austrian girl who wasn't even allow ed to take part of the actual rulling(political I mean).
    SHAME!

  18. Poor Europeans now running out of all those loots of colonization, getting bankrupt and emerging as new third world. A full circle…..LoL.
