#ocsbHowTo Check Settings on your projector

If you’re looking at troubleshoot
your a new Hitachi projector (again if you’re having big issues with it the
best thing to do is put in a helpdesk ticket to get your LTST to come to your
school), but if you want to just try to make sure everything’s right, if you tap
down here and, there’s the little wrench with the projector button, you can tap
that and there’s a variety of options. HDMI 1 is going to be how you connect
to the HDMI cable in the wall so if for some reason you’ve chosen one or two
(because you’ve been connecting to an older laptop) then you may need to switch
that back and forth. But again, making sure that the HDMI port matches the
input slot that is on your remote. For the Old SmartBoards you may remember
that you used to have to calibrate your Smartboard to make sure it was all
lined up properly. These ones are designed to auto calibrate. To do that there’s
this button here with a little swirl and some dots and if I tap that the
projector is just going to take a moment to calibrate itself with your whiteboard.
You’ll see that we get all these black dots, and we leave it, and then it
thinks about it for a little moment and it says success. We are ready to go
and continue using our projector it’s that easy.
