PICTURE COLLAGE LAPTOP CASE DIY (CC)

Hi everyone and thank you for coming to my
channel. Today we are making a DIY Collage Laptop Case. It’s a cute and original idea
that adds a piece of you to the laptop. What you’ll need is a laptop, a clear case,
cardstock paper which it can be any color you’d like, scissors, an X-Acto Knife, glue,
and printed pictures. In addition, you’ll also need tape and a pencil for outlining. First, find pictures that you want to use
to make this collage case and add them to a folder. The pictures can be any type of
picture you’d like. If you are using pictures already in your home, do not use the original.
Take a picture of it and print that out. The case you use for your laptop can be any clear
case that fits. I have a 13” Macbook Pro and I will be adding the case I bought for
it in the description box. Try saving about 18 pictures or so of all
different sizes. Once you have them, upload them to a photo printing website, or if you
have a photo printer, you can use that as well. I ordered my pictures glossy because
I like the shine it gives to them. Next, put the two pieces of cardstock you
have together. Vertical placement of the paper will work much better if you have a bigger
laptop. I used a horizontal method this time, but I’ve found vertical placement to work
a lot better. Run the middle of the two pages through the
middle of the logo and tape the pages together. Outline your laptop’s edges on the paper
and cut the paper out. Once you finished outlining the logo on both
sides mirrored, put this paper aside. Begin cutting out the images and make one
pile for the pictures and one for scraps. You can either throw out the scraps or save
them for later to put in the gaps between pictures. If you use colored paper, you don’t
have to worry about this. In any arrangement you would like, start putting
them on the side without the tape. Once done, slide the pictures over slightly
and begin to glue them down on the paper. Wait for the paper to dry. Cut out the logo with the X-acto knife. Also,
trim the edges so the all the pictures fit evenly on the paper. In addition, if you want
to make more collages, do not glue this paper into your case so that you can switch them
out. Put the sheet into the case and you are done!
A budget friendly custom case! Again, feel free to make more so that you can switch them
around. Thank you for watching and I will see you
soon!
