Start with removing the front cover. After that, you screw off the lampshade. Now you take off the lamp base. Then screw off the back cover. Take off the lamp base, make sure to have enough wire to attach the new lamp base. Now you take the new lamp base and push it though to the back of the projector. Now you connect it. strip about a centimeter of the wires. Break off two pieces off the crown strip, because we use two wires. Now screw the wires in the crown strip. We attach the crown strip in the back because there is not enough room on the front. Make sure the wires have enough length, so make a turn with your wires. The standard lamp base Van Eck has hardened wires, so before you start soldering, cut and strip the wires Next you start circulating the heat shrinking tube. this has to be done before soldering, otherwise it can’t go around the wire anymore. Now you cut the wires which where in the projector first, tailor them, cut them and strip them off again. Take your soldering iron and start adding copper to the wires, you do this because when you have copper on the wires, it will be easier to solder them together. Make sure that there is copper on the side of the lamp base as well. Now you use your solder iron and pass by the heatshrinking tube so it will actually start shrinking around the wire. Now you close the projector.
