I have not got that much room. You’ve got a foot on that side. That’s not a foot. And I literally am on a ledge. I’ve got nowhere left to go. Do you think she suspects that you creep down to my bed? No I thought we’d put Antony down the end. It’s not that kind of
relationship anyway, is it? If she does, that was
an amazing performance. You’re very special, Julie. I don’t think I am. I know you don’t think you are. I’m very normal really. You’re not normal at all. I feel as though I want
to not live my whole life in this very privileged part
of the world I come from. I want to be really aware about
what’s going on around me. Sorry, sorry. We can all be sincere,
but what’s it all for? So I’m trying to work out
where you two tessellate here. How? What? Why? When? Can you lend me a couple of quid? Yeah, sure. Can I borrow some money? Please? More money? Yes. Oh. You’re too nice. You need to properly get aggressive. Don’t lie, Antony. If you don’t want to know. I do want to know. Then don’t ask. Stop torturing yourself. I’m not tor– Stop inviting me to torture you. It’s terribly complicated. You’re a thief. Gonna have to leave somewhere. Antony, you stole my stuff. Bleh. That’s exactly how
you make me feel. You’re lost and you’ll always be lost. You’ve changed quite
a lot since you came. The most important thing about learning is that you grow. Do you like her? She looks sad. I think she looks determined and very much in love.

  1. That thumbnail threw me for a loop. The actress looked like a small person. But it was just an illusion whr the right palm looked as if it was the left one. You can imagine the surprise as I watched through this trailer.

  2. Seems incredibly pretentious. Can the girl really be that much of an idiot, getting involved with a druggie and bringing him into her mother's house?

  3. Sometimes you only need to see a couple of seconds of a trailer or perhaps even just the thumbnail for a trailer to know that it's the sort of movie for you. This, for me, is one of those times.

  4. Looks like a total pretentious Panthom Thread TRASH. But at least it has Tilda in it. Won't make it good though probably

  5. I came here because of Richard Ayoade mentioned in the Wikipedia, and I feel absolutely attacked, that's the role they gave to Richard Ayoade? Is that a role to accept? I am flipping disappointed

  6. Such a beautiful masterpiece. Tilda shines as always and the story, directing, music and editing style are superb. but Honor Swinton is the heart and soul of this film, her acting was as masterful as her mother's!

  7. can't wait, esp. as Unrelated and Archipelago were both so quietly riveting. Hogg is brilliant, full stop.

  8. 1:02 it's Maurice from IT Crowd!! Love that guy 😀 Also I feel an Oscar nod coming for Tilda Swinton in this movie ahaha

  9. i'm sad i live in europe because i'll have to wait.
it's been a very long time since i got this interested by a movie

  10. i went and saw this last night.
Never seen anything like it before. Really beautiful and so touching!
Even tho there were parts where i felt like falling asleep…even then it felt like those moments were just part of the atmosphere, at times wanting to scream, that the main character finds herself in….and makes the coming alive parts even more beautiful. Loved it.

  11. I didnt think A24 could make a bad movie, till I wasted 2 hours of my life on this today.. I saw people walk out on it today….RT critic score 90% Audience has it at 34%

  12. I saw this at the Edinburgh International Film festival last month. It was by far the best film I saw, Joanna Hogg's directing is perfection and every characters acting is fantastic.

  13. I fell asleep watching this movie, half of the movie and I felt like I was still watching the first 5 mins, didn't finish it so if things started to happen after,is too late lol.

  14. Too bad about all the smoking in this thing. I'll pass.
Maybe they should deal with their problem before whatever else happens in this movie.

  15. The guy is an absolute d-bag. An ugly freeloader thief junkie with multiple sex partners who might have used dirty needles, I believe he gave her an STD.

  16. Dialogue nearly impossible to hear, covered by the repetitive piano music track (which may be more important).

  17. Peter Bradshaw said it was like social realist cinema but concentrating on poshos rather than the working class, a la Mike Leigh, Alan Clark and Ken Loach. Sounds intriquing but I'm not sure I could sit through an entire screening of smarmy tossers smarming off without hurling my Dr Pepper at the screen.
